School Fees in Zimbabwe

As parents we try to do what is best for our children and making sure that your child gets an education and a  good one at that. You will have to make sure you find a very good school for them.  If you decide to take your child to a private school you will be looking at paying from $1000 dollars going up and that does not include the uniforms though the advantages of this is that they have a small community atmosphere that allows for a lower student-to-teacher ratio. With smaller class sizes, teachers are able to focus more attention on individual students, and have more time to get to know students better. Classmates also get a chance to form more intimate bonds, when there are fewer students.

The government A schools, you will be looking at paying between $150  and $ 600 and if you are going to a  B school then it would be between $60 up to $200 at most. All these charges exclude uniforms and in some cases you will have to buy books and text  books as well. Most parent who are working in other countries always try their best so that they can send money  to Zimbabwe so you can insure that your child gets a good education.  We also have boarding schools which cost from about $500 up to $1000 and on top you will have to buy tuck for your child and also give them pocket money, it will seem like its a lot but considering that you are doing this for your child then it becomes worth all the trouble because our children are the future of tomorrow.
