Looks like the good word is out about the special partnership between Inter Africa and Mukuru cracking the South Africa-Zimbabwe remittance corridor as the news was feature on the front page of The Zimbabwean today! Clearly if you work in South Africa and are looking to send money to Zimbabwe, this is the way to go.

  1. Sign up with Inter Africa by traveling to their nearest office with the following documents: (1) Proof of Identity such as a South African ID, a South African Passport, a Foreign Passport, Asylum Papers, or an Emergency Travel Document. (2) Working papers or Asylum papers. (3) Proof of Income. (4) Proof of Residency, such as a bill with your name and address on it.  For more clarification on this check out this information.
  2. Send money back to Zimbabwe from any Inter Africa branch or call them up to place your next order:  SA 021-3001959
  3. Receive deposit instructions to your cellphone. Walk to your nearest First National Bank, and deposit cash directly into InterAfrica’s account.
  4. An SMS is sent to your recipient in Zimbabwe with instructions to collect his money INSTANTLY nationwide.
