As I was doing my own personal research about companies offering money transfers to Zimbabwe, I read a little deeper about a company that offers no transfer fees after spending a certain about on orders, but I found some red flags in their own explanation about keeping your money safe! First, although the company claims to be registered with Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs, the link for more information appears to be broken– perhaps forgivable, but then… Secondly, they have yet to be registered with the Financial Services Authority or FSA, an independent financial regulatory body in the UK, after trading since 2004. As a consumer, this would be an important component to gaining my trust as a money transfer business. Competitors who are also sending money to Zimbabwe and South Africa seem to have their regulatory paperwork in order. And finally, although this company also is a member of the UK Money Transmitters Association, the link for further information is also broken.

Make sure when you’re sending money online to Zimbabwe, you have all of your questions answered and the company is clearly and proudly participating in all regulations.
